We had a busy day yesterday at Chocolate Whirled early afternoon and Awesome Walls later in the day! 
Some amazing creations at Chocolate Whirled with lots of tasty treats to take home and hopefully share 
And some fab skills learnt at Awesome Walls later that afternoon with lots of our young people getting active and learning about rock climbing!

Youth at Crosby Lakeside Adventure Centre
Another fabulous session at this morning! Sailing and Bell Boating this morning 
Lovely to see confidence of our young people grow and to hear about all the things they learnt and the friends that they made too!
Community Life Saving Defibrillator
We are happy to share that the Life Saving Defibrillator that has been funded by Ainsdale Area Committee, London Hearts and members of our local Community has been installed on the wall outside the Community Centre!!
A huge thank you to The Lions Charity who came to fit it for us and who have funded some first aid courses for local people, we are so grateful!

Crafts – Paper lanterns
Gorgeous paper lanterns made on Friday night. They look lovely with our battery powered flickering tealights inside too!
Such a relaxing session, lots of creativity and fun ideas whilst sharing some pizza and garlic bread for tea 
Watersports at Crosby Lakeside
We can’t think of anything more perfect on a day like this to be out enjoying a Watersports session with Crosby Lakeside Adventure Centre
Youth Origami
A very big thank you to the super talented Zulay who came to teach us Origami this morning 
We made a piano, a shark, a box and a jumping frog 
And learnt lovely lessons about relaxation, taking our time and being patient as well as leaving our projects and taking a break to return to them if we feel frustrated and how we can always start again

Youth Clip and Climb
This afternoon we had another group out at Awesome Walls in Liverpool on Clip n Climb where they experienced different walls and used varied techniques to get to the top of each one!
A huge well done to everyone! Facing fears and challenging yourselves to get to the top of each wall – you are all absolutely amazing and you should be super proud
Naturally the timed wall brought out the competitive side in some of our young people – beating some personal bests on there and racing one another up definitely looked like good fun! And a little shout out to one of our young people who scored the fastest time of the day so far at 19.95 seconds – an amazing achievement! 
Canvas shoe painting
We had Jennie from Outline Arts come this morning to deliver a canvas shoe painting class and OH. MY. GOODNESS! The results were absolutely incredible!
With the help and guidance of Jennie and Elle our young people created absolutely amazing designs and the finished shoes were just fantastic! We hope everyone has had a great time, I’m pretty sure the staff were jealous
