BLEED CONTROL KIT

A huge thank you to Ainsdale Civic Society, providing the Woodvale area with a public access Bleed Control Kit.
The kit is located in our secure defibrillator cabinet outside our centre by the food cupboard. PR8 3RS.
The cabinet can be accessed 24/7, code will be provided by ambulance team in case of emergencies. The 999 team can talk through how to use the packs, and you can also watch a step by step on how to use the kits with the link – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fRmt5E8b1lg
We are thankful that this area has access to these resources, however we hope we never need to use them! #StopKnifeCrime

Youth volunteering litter pick

Amazing efforts from our youth members and volunteers. This week they dedicated a couple of hours to benefit the community.🌳
In small groups they tackled the ongoing littering in the area and in the woodlands, with also helping out Sandbrook park bowling green!
They also chopped and lopped the evergrowing greenery in the woodlands to make the paths more accessible. 👍🏼
Afterwards they all enjoyed some sandwiches and a sweet treat! Thank you everyone who helped out, your efforts do not go unnoticed ☺️
