We had Honeyed Carrot Soup, Chicken Curry with sticky rice, Sprinkle Sponge Cake or fresh Melon Chunks

All concluded with a brew and biscuits, donated to us by an amazing human

Woodvale’s Big Clean Up

Our centre is hosting a community litter pick on Wednesday 29th May 12pm-2pm, with refreshments at the community centre afterwards.

For all ages, let’s get the area clean and tidy for the sunnier days!

Youth cooking course

As our youth cooking course comes to a close, we are filled with immense pride seeing the growth and creativity each individual has shown in the kitchen

From mastering new recipes to embracing teamwork, every moment has been a celebration of talent and dedication

We gifted each of our young people with a brand new WOK, so they can continue their newly learnt skills at home

Breakfast Club – youth session

During the school holidays we aim to host breakfast clubs. This gives the young people a chance to…set an alarm…and start the day with a scrumptious breakfast.

As breakfast is the most important meal of the day, we want to ensure it’s a good one.

Along side all the lovely food we had available, we also played board games.

REPTILE EXPERIENCE

We want to thank Dylan’s Reptile Time for the amazing informative session for our young people.

We had 14 youths learn about a mixture of different reptiles.

Everyone was really brave and respectful, a lot of young people stepped out of their comfort zones to even handle the reptiles.

Easter egg hunt at WACA

Tonight we hosted our youth Easter egg hunt, in teams of 3 they searched the gardens and halls for small colourful eggs. With bonus prizes along the way!

A huge thank you to One Stop Woodvale for the donation of eggs, along with the huge generosity from Southport Freemasons. The remaining Easter eggs will be distributed to the local community who are in need of a nice treat!

Thank you to our youth team who have also made lovely Easter cards for the community!

Woodvale’s Community Food Cupboard

We have now got a new food cupboard – which was kindly donated to us.

The food cupboard has been re-located closer to the centre, under better surveillance and monitoring.

We have stocked it up full of veggies and cupboard fillers, please only take what you can use.

Also, please make sure the cupboard is closed correctly. Thank you for your continued support.

New Uniform Day

A big thank you to the person who anonymously donated money to contribute to our new uniforms for staff and volunteers. We chose the colour green to tie into our logo.
