Pandemic Art Project

We are so impressed with the art work that our group came up with and put together for our Pandemic Art Project. This project was all about speaking to young people and hearing their experiences of this past year.

We started with a whiteboard full of notes and ideas and then grouped them together to make 6 pieces of art. The young people decided between them who would work on each piece and supported one another if they got stuck for ideas or needed help to design their piece.

This is the finished result and we are so proud of all the hard work that went in to this project and it has been really valuable to hear how young people have experienced this past year.

Bottom middle: Created to look like a family noticeboard highlighting the three days we were allowed to spend together at Christmas

Top right: All the hobbies we took up during lockdown and throughout the pandemic – painting, baking, walking, music, sports etc.

Bottom right: All those Coronavirus emotions. From happiness to annoyance and frustration and everything in between
