Yesterday we hosted our monthly lunch club and served some lovely, warming meals. Cream of Leek Soup or Sausage Casserole for a main served with crusty bread and Sticky Toffee Pudding or Fruit Salad for dessert – absolutely delicious!
We would like to say a big thank you to I’m Your Baker who donated Sticky Toffee Puddings for us to serve as a dessert – they were very well received by our members

Woodland path progress!
Woodland Updates
Our amazing volunteers have been through the Woodlands again today! They have laid woodchip on the muddy section between the path and the field, cleared the forest classroom of litter and twigs and have laid woodchip there too
Stumps Away have delivered more woodchip so we can carry on with the path from Brookdale to the field and we’ll see where else needs doing after that
The work our team has done these past few weeks has just been amazing and we’re so happy to be back working in the woodlands

Afternoon Lunch
On Tuesday we had a lovely afternoon hosting afternoon lunch for our members. We served a choice of sausage with mash, peas and onion gravy or roasted red vegetable soup followed by mixed berry crumble and ice cream or Unicorn cake.
This was followed by teas, coffees and a raffle.
If you’re interested in coming along to our next one, it is held on the first Tuesday of every month and we just ask that you call to book in advance.
Fairy Doors
We had such a lovely evening with a group of young people who came to paint Fairy doors yesterday. It was very relaxing and a great opportunity for our group to get to know one another better
We wanted to share some photos and show you how fantastic they all turned out!
Woodland path maintenance
A HUGE well done and thank you to our incredible woodland volunteers who gave up a few hours this morning to help us lay wood chip on the main path
It really is looking beautiful through there
Today we prioritised the section of the path that gets muddy but we will will be back through over the coming weeks laying the rest of the wood chip
If you’re interested in getting involved please get in touch, we would love to hear from you
Plant Pots, Paints and Pizza
We just wanted to share these amazing creations with you. On Friday evening we had a group of 12 young people who came to paint plant pots, it was a such a fun and relaxed evening and we are so impressed with everyone’s creativity! We got our pots and gorgeous plants from Creative Plants Southport – thank you so much for getting them all together for us!
