We had a lovely morning yesterday making food for this afternoon’s free lunch that we serve to the older members of our community 😊
We served a choice of:
🍴 Sausage Casserole or
🍴 Chunky Vegetable Soup
both served with crusty bread
And for Dessert we had a choice of:
🍴 Homemade Apple Crumble
🍴 Rhubarb Pie (from our FareShare Charity collection)
🍴 Cake with Raspberry and Swiss Meringue Buttercream
This beautiful cake was donated to our Centre by the lovely Sian at HeavenlyCakes. A local cake maker (just around the corner from us) and she was kind enough to bake this stunning cake for our members this afternoon! A huge thank you!! 🍰
